What the explorer shows

The native URL parser normalizes components such as hostname case, default ports, and dot path segments. Query entries remain ordered and repeated names remain separate.

Worked example

In https://example.com/learn?topic=images#example, https: is the protocol, example.com is the hostname, /learn is the path, ?topic=images is the raw query, and #example is the fragment.

Limitations

Parsing shows structure only. It does not prove that a destination exists, is safe, or belongs to a particular organization. The explorer accepts only complete HTTP and HTTPS URLs.
